We’re thrilled to announce that Muhammad Tabish Hamid, President of LPRI (LUMS Student Policy Research Initiative) and a Politics and Economics major from the batch of 2024, made a remarkable contribution at the 25th International AIDS Conference 2024 in Munich, Germany! Tabish, the youngest researcher and workshop presenter from Pakistan, conducted a workshop on ‘Integrated Disaster Management,’ focused on integrating HIV services into disaster management frameworks.

The conference featured speeches from global leaders, including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and UN AIDS Executive Director Winnie Byanyima. Additionally, Tabish co-authored a paper on ‘Disaster Management Framework for PLHIV,’ which was displayed at the event.
