We were pleased to welcome Dr. Magnus Marsden, Professor of Social Anthropology and Head of the Department of Anthropology at the University of Sussex, and Dr. Syeda Sana Batool, Assistant Professor of Visual Anthropology, to the LUMS campus. 

The visit, which took place as part of the MOU signed between LUMS and the University of Sussex, included discussions on future areas of collaboration and joint projects. The visiting faculty also toured the Lutfullah Khan Archives, where they were introduced to the archive's contents, its digitisation process, and the breadth of material it holds. The visit generated a number of ideas for collaboration around the archive.

We look forward to building on the MOU and supporting shared work across human flourishing, environmental sustainability, and digital futures.
