Mobile Lives is a five-installation exhibition developed by The Migration Collective that examines the lived and represented experience of undocumented migration, using visual and testimonial media to interrogate how mobility, displacement, and belonging are documented, narrated, and ethically framed. Across its five installations, the exhibition brings together documentary film, photography, and testimonial animation, including work by Thomas Grandrémy and Laurent Prum on the ethics of representing migration, and a collaboration with Waves from Home featuring Palestinian testimonies. Together, these installations trace migration as departure, transit, and the often-unresolved question of arrival, asking how undocumented migrant narratives are constructed, mediated, and encamped within larger regimes of visibility and control.
