The MGSHSS Careers Center in collaboration with LUMS CSO organized a networking session with representatives of renowned companies looking to hire humanities and social sciences majors. The representatives first met faculty members and the Dean, discussing what is taught in MGSHSS courses and what the job market requires. Following this, there was a panel discussion and question and answer session with students. The representatives shared their valuable experiences and encouraged the students to apply for jobs without being scared of rejection. They also talked about 'creating impact' and how it's not easy to actually achieve that - it requires grit and determination. The importance of behavioral skills was highlighted, and students were encouraged to follow their passion, knowing that technical skills follow.
