Shanzae Asif, BSc Political Science, Batch of 2015 has received the UK government's Chevening Scholarship. The Chevening Scholarship is a very selective and prestigious scholarship that is awarded to only 73 students in Pakistan every year.

“My degree offered a comprehensive and holistic education that provided me with the tools to approach ideas and theories critically” says Shanzae. “I enjoyed my time at LUMS immensely – the enthusiasm of my professors and their passionate approach towards some of my favorite subjects inspired me to work harder. I feel that LUMS will always be a significant part of my life wherever I go and undoubtedly I owe all my success to this wonderful institution” she adds.

The Chevening Scholarship is awarded to outstanding emerging leaders in Pakistan to pursue a one-year master’s degree at any UK university. The scholarship programme provides a unique opportunity for future leaders, influencers, and decision-makers from all over the world to develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience the UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with UK.
