The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking a full-time faculty member on Tenure Track (Assistant Professor) for its English program. Since 2014, LUMS has been offering a four-year B.A. (Hons) degree in English. We have a vibrant faculty with diverse research interests and teaching portfolios covering areas such as Postcolonial Studies, British Literature, American Literature, Environmental Humanities, Women Studies, Modernist Literature and Creative Writing.

Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in English, exhibit a clear vision for teaching, and show evidence of research. We are especially interested in applicants with specialization in literary theory and digital humanities.  The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate students, achieve high standards of research, serve on departmental/university committees and provide input towards the development of the English Major at LUMS.
