Shermeen is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), teaching Energy and Sustainability. She is a seasoned professional with extensive multi-disciplinary work experience in the public and private sector, including consulting, advisory, governance and entrepreneurship. She is an SECP certified Director and has played integral roles on the boards of large public sector organizations and a high growth startup. 

She has undertaken financial advisory, restructuring and valuations specifically within the electricity, gas and infrastructure sectors. At an IFC-funded startup, she played a pivotal role in the strategic development and financial analyses of diverse energy projects, including brownfield fossil fuel and greenfield renewable energy initiatives. Her expertise extends to areas such as investment feasibilities, business planning, and stakeholder management. She is the founder of a socially responsible ice cream brand and financial advisor to an aviation startup focused on developing contrail-free aero engines, addressing critical environmental concerns in the aviation sector.
