The Saida Waheed Gender Initiative at LUMS is hosting its third student colloquium on the 20th and 21st of April. The colloquium consists of student panels on both the days, highlighting issues of gender in Pakistan.

Students from across the country will present their work in front of their peers, and engage in a productive, critical conversation around their research. Research topics include, but are not limited to representations of gender in fiction and film, politics and economics of gender and inequality, histories of activism and organizing, feminist theory, gender-based violence and the construction of gender in religious discourses.
