The Saida Waheed Gender Initiative is pleased to announce a call for proposals for its Research Mentoring Workshop for students this year. This workshop aims to help students (undergraduate and postgraduate) develop and support original research ideas related to gender and/or sexuality, which engage primary and secondary sources. Along with providing basic training in feminist research methodologies, this workshop is an excellent opportunity for student participants to present their research proposals and receive valuable feedback from the academic research community at LUMS - experienced researchers will be specifically assigned according to your topic, they will be guiding you through the research process, and will prepare in-depth comments and questions regarding your proposal. The workshop's goal is to aid students at multiple stages of their education: from those in the final stages of undergraduate training to those active with graduate thesis research.
To participate in this workshop, you must apply in advance by submitting a proposal of two typed A-4 pages through email to email@example.com by Monday, September 30th, 2019.
Final decision of selection of candidates will be communicated on Tuesday, 15th October 2019. The workshop will take place 29th - 30th November 2019.
Please read the attached Call for Proposals for more details.
If you have any queries or concerns please write to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you.
